An after-ski like no other in Les Ménuires

In the ski resort of Les Ménuires, the days don't end after the runs. At an after-ski event organized by the tourist office, holidaymakers discovered an original activity: slacklining.

After ski in Les Ménuires: slackline show and initiations

Against a festive backdrop of snow, young and old had the opportunity to test their balance on slacklines specially installed in the snow. Dressed in their ski suits, participants enthusiastically took up the challenge, discovering the unique sensations of this discipline combining balance and control.

An introduction to slacklining for all

Slacklining, often associated with sunny days and green parks, has found a new playground here: the snow! Portable slacklines were available for visitors to try out in complete safety.

Beginners were quick to understand the importance of concentration and good posture in moving forward on the strap stretched between two supports. Some managed to hold their balance for several seconds, while others preferred to play the fun card by attempting a few improvised jumps.

The atmosphere was friendly, with parents and children helping each other to walk the line, reinforcing the family spirit of the Les Ménuires ski resort.

An introduction to slacklining in the snow

An acrobatic slackline show under the snow!

As soon as the slopes closed, the technical team set about installing a slackline show. In less than an hour, everything was ready: a slackline stretched across the snow, lit by a few spotlights, and a musical ambience to warm up the atmosphere despite the night-time chill.

Despite difficult conditions - slippery snow, low temperatures and humid air - the professional slackliner performed a series of jumps, flips and acrobatic figures, maintaining his balance with impressive mastery.

The spectators, clustered around the area, followed the performance attentively. Each successful landing on the strap was greeted with applause, and the energy of the show quickly made us forget the coolness of the evening.

This unique event, a cross between sport and spectacle, offered a fine demonstration of slacklining in an unusual environment. Proof that this discipline can adapt to any terrain, even in the middle of winter! ❄️🎶

A show for young and old

A craze for slacklining

The initiation and the show complement each other perfectly, offering participants a fun and inspiring experience. By trying out the slackline before the performance, the audience becomes aware of the difficulty and precision required by this discipline.

After the show, motivated by what they've just seen, many return to the slacklines to try out a few more steps at their own level. This interaction between practice and demonstration allows everyone to fully experience the event and better appreciate the performance of the professionals.

Thanks to this approach, theLes Ménuires tourist office is offering an original and dynamic after-ski event, where show and participation go hand in hand to discover slacklining in all its facets.
